(SneakerHeads) Swaggerlicious or not?
Swaggerlicious or Not?
A month ago, we previewed the Nike Sportswear All Court Leather Mid Collection, and we are now receiving word that all the three sneakers from the collection are available at selected Nike retailers. The two common threads between all three styles are the use of patent leather on the upper and a clean white vulcanized sole. The first pair hosts a brown base, while the second style yields a purple upper, and the third sneaker features a green upper. All three pairs are now available and are definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a clean, yet flashy pair of sneakers.
New York City is Trying to Shut Down M2!
Looks like the city of New York isn’t too pleased with what’s been going down at arguably its most popular club, M2. Apparently, Bloomberg is trying to shut down the club as a result of it being in violation of smoking laws. The NY Times reports:
"The nightclub, the M2 UltraLounge on West 28th Street in Manhattan, went on trial last week at a special administrative court that the city uses when it seeks to take away property. If the case against the club succeeds"

Drake Discusses "Over" Video: "Its Sort Of A Love Story In The Video"
Drake is currently gearing up to release the video for his lead single Over from his debut album Thank Me Later.
Drizzly recently talked about filming the video and how he will establish himself as "Drake the artist."
"This is my first video," he said in an interview. "I've shot a lot of videos before, but this is my first attempt to establish myself as Drake the the artist. Shooting the other videos I've done has been great. I really don't care what other people think about them, they were great experiences for me. I've learned a lot from them. Today, I'm shooting with somebody I really look up to and respect. I'm shooting with Anthony Mandler...We talked colors, we talked epic, emotion-evoking visuals. The story is actually interesting. The song is so aggressive, and it's sort of a love story in the video."
The filming for Over will take place in Los Angeles.
Over is sitting at #15 on iTunes Top Songs
chart, while Thank Me Later is tentalively scheduled to hit shelves in May.

WHAT ALICIA KEYS HAS TO SAY ABOUT LIL'MAMA
While the entire industry seems to have weighed in on the surprise third wheel, Alicia Keys and the Marcy Projects native have remained tight lipped.
That is until Key's stop on the Today Show this morning. When asked about the situation, Keys says she understood emotions were running high but would have preferred if Lil Mama enjoyed the performance in other ways.
"We can appreciate her being overwhelmed and inspired but we would've preferred she did it from her seat."
Jay-Z has yet to comment on the situation, you can check out video of Key's interview below
NAS & KELIS Reunite
Over the last few months, the couple were involved in a fierce battle over child and spousal support. Kelis was asking Nas to pay $72,728.00 in spousal support, retro child support of $29,522.00, $17,225.00 a month in child support, and retro spousal support of $281,571.
The case was to be reviewed this month, at which time the judge was to make a ruling on how much Nasir was to pay his then ex-wife, and how long he had to maintain supporting her.
According to unconfirmed reports, the two have reconciled their differences

Photos: Chris Brown reports for community service
Chris Brown reported for trash pick-up detail this morning in Virginia. When he spoke to CNN’s Larry King, he said that he was happy to do whatever punishment labor he was given but thought that he could do more by talking to young people the way that T.I. did as part of his parole. I’ve been thinking about, and while of course there’s the satisfaction of, “oh, now look at you, picking up trash, that serves you right.” Along with the simple fact that community service is a great way for punishment to translate into free labor for cityworks.
But, what if Chris Brown was also required to go through his domestic abuse counseling process in a public way….wouldn’t that be a powerful “teaching moment” too?
Just a thought.
