WHAT ALICIA KEYS HAS TO SAY ABOUT LIL'MAMA

Though the media has primarily focused their energy on Kanye West this week, it's safe to say that no one will soon forget Lil Mama's stage crashing during Jay-Z's Empire State Of Mind performance featuring Alicia Keys.

While the entire industry seems to have weighed in on the surprise third wheel, Alicia Keys and the Marcy Projects native have remained tight lipped.

That is until Key's stop on the Today Show this morning. When asked about the situation, Keys says she understood emotions were running high but would have preferred if Lil Mama enjoyed the performance in other ways.

"We can appreciate her being overwhelmed and inspired but we would've preferred she did it from her seat."
