[VIDEO] Obama Calls Kanye A JackAss,Kanye Holds Back Tear During Jay Leno Apology

Kanye West's actions at the VMA's yesterday have had such a negative backlash, that even the President of the United States felt the need to add his two cents.

Shortly after an interview with ABC reporters, Terry Morgan posted on his twitter which currently has over a million followers the following information.

"Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a "jackass" for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential."

The tweet was removed almost immediately, but it didnt take long for thousands of his followers to copy the post and bounce it around the web.

Doing some quick damage control, an ABC spokesperson explained to POLITICO that in the process of reporting on an interview with CNBC, Morgan posted the comment which was meant to be off the record.

"In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again."

While all of this was going on, Kanye took page out of Chris Browns book, and sheds a tear for forgiveness on national TV.
